While you were out working today. . .

January 28th, 2009 by Dwight Jaynes | Filed under Me.

. . .I sat back and counted my money. Go ahead, be envious. I don’t care because I’m rich — even though my computer continually keeps trying to sabotage me by putting this stuff in the spam file.

Just today, here’s a sample of e-mail telling me what I won:

£750,000.00 pounds in our MONTHLY
NATIONAL PROMO BONANZA
You have won £1000,000,00 GBP.
subsequently won you 1,000,000.00 (One Million Great Britain Pounds) from the U.K FREE PROMO
The El-gordo Lottery was held on the 30 DEC 2008, results released on the 2ND JAN. 2009 in which you are approved of One Million Euro and your winning ticket
won you 1,000,000.00 (One Million Great Britain Pounds) from the Free Online Promotion.
You won £1,350,000.
1,000.000 Euros
This is to inform you that you have been selected for a cash prize of #1,000,000 (British Pounds)

Yes… two or three million British pounds, a couple of million Euros… all in one day. I’ve sent all my information to these people and so I’m expecting the cash in the mail any day now.

Honestly… do people still fall for this stuff? Honestly?

Nigeria has the distinction of being the scammer capital.
I work with a couple Nigerians and they were laughing about it.

Apparently these worthless pieces of crap do very well, make money
    hand over fist.
60 Minutes also had a show about them. They had alot
    of our hard earned money.

They actually had their home addresses on the scams, the guys walked
right up to their homes…like they were business men.
Not even afraid of being caught.!
