Playboy Buddy Rose is no longer with us. Man, for a guy his size he could really move in his prime. He was one of the great interviews of all time and a role model for fat guys everywhere.

Hey Dwight,
Thanks for being a good source for keeping up with pro wrestling. I’m spoiled by the Don Owen style of business. WWE just isn’t the same. On the local Salem cable outlet, we get something called the West Coast Wrestling Connection (WC2) which films in a high school gym in Eugene.
It’s comparable to Sandy Barr’s recent stuff.
I had some interactions with the Playboy–and actually liked him.
Thanks for the link. It was great to see some of the classic Portland Wresting again.
The Playboy was a great bad guy. He would play the coward, then when the good guy had his back turned, Buddy would let him have it. I really loved the good old days of Portland Wrestling.
Dwight,
Thanks for the youtube link. That was classic. I remember going with you and Willie to Portland Wrestling. Good memories.

Very sad. I had a lot of great memories on the corner of 146th and Stark watching this stuff. That YouTube video really made me smile. Thanks for the memories Buddy.
