As I read all the reports today about Rasheed Wallace heading to the Boston Celtics, I happened to notice the old T-shirt I’d thrown over my head today. It’s my favorite of all time and put out in a limited edition (a very limited edition, I believe) and it arrived shortly after one of Wallace’s special media performances during the playoffs.
You know the story. But if you don’t, suffice it to say he’s a guy who didn’t offer much in post-game interviews. (Clip thanks to”Arthritis” in the comments).
So as Celtic fans await the arrival of a guy who can produce plenty as long as you don’t have to rely on him for it, enjoy this photo of my favorite shirt.
And by the way, I hope he and KG get along perfectly.

great memory of sheed right there.
That shirt is great. I’ve always wanted to make a “Both teams played hard” sign at a Blazers vs. Sheed game. Maybe this is the year.
Man, I hope Pritchard doesn’t overspend on David Lee. I’d prefer Andre Miller if he HAS TO use that cap room but honestly, neither of these guys are what Portland needs.
Lamar Odom’s the best player up for bidding but I doubt he’s leaving, even if the money’s ridiculous.
Given how much better NEXT year’s free agent crop is, why wouldn’t KP opt to sign someone short-term? They’ve still got Roy and Aldridge to wrap up.
As long as we are discussing things loosely in an off season way. I’d like to say I much prefer Pink Floyd with Roger Waters as to Pink without. David Gilmore is fantastic and you can always replace band members. Once you break up the core tho. The chemistry is gone, the music is not near as strong and the songs are for ever more never the same.
I have that very special shirt that Oden had on downtown.
That’s pretty special !!
I mean I have the very limited shirt he wore, not literally his shirt.
But I have had alot of offers for it,it’s really beautiful.
My stomach turns, to remember Sheed being here laughing as Blazers were losing games,I am so glad he’s gone.
Good luck Boston.
This year Sheed looked like he was shot.Hope they didn’t pay much for him.
I want one!
On a short thread like this would like to make couple of comments.
Fist I count on Dwigth as my local news source specially for Blazer. Big O site too hard to work. And Tribune is a step down since Dwight left
second, I appreciate you quote the better local sources like Kerry and Rachel rather than pretending they are your. Journalists should do that and few do.
Enjoy your site

I appreciate your objective insight when talking Blazers – that said, would it be possible for you to come up with your version of a ‘power rankings’ based on all of the summer NBA transactions thus far? I’d be curious to see where you see the Blazers at this point.
