I'm not the cynic, retard. I've been critiquing Dwight's relentless negativity.

Anyone who has ever played basketball besides in middle-school or on the playground knows that the piece Quick wrote about the pick&roll is right on. After all, McMillan was allowed carte blanche on teaching p&r defense to the Olympic team and it worked out pretty well. The problems for this team have nothing to do with coaching, but with experience, and that just takes time. Getting the ball to Oden has as much to do with his ability to get the ball and receive it as it does with HOW they do it. It also depends on how the different teams choose to defend the post. What works with Milwaukee won't necessarily work against Cleveland. Instead of demanding perfection now, let the team develop, they will great soon enough.

Wow, I had to double check which blog I was reading. All of these posts that have little to do with basketball and more to do with people's egos made me think I was on the O-Live blog. Oh, and the jabs at J Quick were a little unnecessary too. Post that crap on the other blogs.

So let me get this straight. Because GO had a big game against a team like Milwaukee, it somehow doesn't count? Does a rookie center have to perform big against top-rank talent not to be considered a bust? In any case, it was nice to see the "Big Guy" have a good game against some NBA talent. Let's see if he can carry that confidence in to another game.

1st off, Glen, why don't you go choke on some poison and die. You are an ignorant asinine pathetic little man who would probably complain about someone giving you water that's too cold even if you were dying of dehydration.

Get off your high horse, you are no better than anyone in here, as a matter of fact with the opinions you write on here you show you are less than most people on here. At least some of us actually have basketball backgrounds and know what we're talking about a little bit and bring basketball thoughts to the conversation. You bring nothing to this discussion other than ignorant rhetoric. Go learn some facts, come back once they've suck in "real good", then come in here and start talking crap. Until then, continue to be a retarded cynic. We don't need your kind in Blazer Nation, and we sure as hell DON'T want your kind here.

It's just one game.....and it was the Bucks Remember that the Oregonian has called Oden a "disappointment".... and I know the Odenites bristle at the thought that anyone would think that Oden is a draft day bust.....

Who cares what team it was against. While Oden had a great night offensively, whether that is vs. the Bucks, the Thunder, 7 & 8 year-olds that dueled it out pre-game at the garden, the real stat that is noteworthy is that he played 35 minutes - only LMA or Brandan played as many or more (35 & 36, respectively). He got looks and was given an opportunity to play tonight. Will the outcome be the same against the Cavs? Probably not. But I would still like to see him get the minutes and touches. It has to happen sooner or later.
