I heard someone on the radio last week talking about Kurt Warner (I think it may have been Howie Long) and he called him a “ball machine.” It was the perfect description. When they talk about the great quarterbacks, we usually don’t hear Warner’s name, but, man — if you want to see the football thrown perfectly time after time, he’s your guy.
I’ve been watching since the days of Y.A Tittle and Johnny Unitas. I don’t know if I’ve seen a guy who so consistently delivers the ball to the right spot at the right time as Warner. You flip a switch and it’s like, automatic, here come the passes, one after another — right on target.
The guy’s a ball machine.

Interesting thoughts. My friends and I, about midway through this year’s NFL season, were debating whether or not Kurt Warner was a Hall of Fame QB. We surmised that perhaps, if Warner gets to the Super Bowl (which we thought was a long shot) with the Cardinals, then he should be considered as such. His numbers aren’t the best (182 TDs, 28,591 passing yards, 114 INTs), but his accolades are pretty sound (NFL MVP, 3-Time Pro-Bowler, Super Bowl MVP, and now staring in his 3rd Super Bowl). Add all of this to a 93.8 passer rating, which is 4th best all-time (better than Brady AND Montana), and do you have what can be considered, a Hall of Fame QB? Your thoughts?
Cardinals vs Steelers how great. much better than NCAA and Gators vs Sooners, where mysterious system narrows championship to two.
No way Cardinals would have gotten to Super Bowl on that system. I will be rooting for the Cardinals. we need an occasional cinderella team
In general I prefer watching college football, but not championship game.
