Why trade Jerryd Bayless?

Second, if Andre Miller is signed, I’d assume he’d be the starter and Steve Blake would come off the bench. That would leave Bayless as the third guy. I don’t think he wants that, I don’t think the team wants that. If he can’t at least be the backup, he’s gotta go.
There are a ton of journeyman who could fill the third point-guard role. Or maybe it’s Patty Mills when he gets healthy. Or Pooh Jeter, even.
