Here’s a first look at an upcoming commercial the NBA is going to be running to hype the playoffs.

They’ve still got someone’s kid fiddling around on the piano in the background, just like the other “Where amazing happens” ads. At some point, if I can find that piano, I’m going to take an axe to it.

The NBA: Where boring you to tears waaaay too long with the same stupid-the-first-time-you-saw-it ad campaign happens.

The Trail Blazer practice facility was jammed with cameras, lighting equipment and a big crew Tuesday morning, along with several “extras” as the NBA was getting ready to spend the rest of the day filming a commercial, featuring — spies tell me — Greg Oden.

Supposedly, it has something to do with him being a “giant” walking around Portland. Hope it doesn’t end up as something that makes us look like a bunch of hicks.
