OK, Beaver fans — who’s going?
At least one and maybe two games at El Paso next week in the best-of-three championship of the CBI. So let’s go!!!! There’s nothing like a few days in El Paso, is there?
Has there ever been a post-season tournament where a team fights its way all the way to the championship knowing if it wins the whole thing, it can actually finish with a season record at or above the .500 mark?
UPDATE: I was thinking about this and wondering — hey, why stop the season so quickly? Why not see if these guys want to go best-of-seven. Or best-of-21.

A .500 season after winning the Pac-10, not good.
A .500 season after going 0-18 in the PAC-10. NOT TOO SHABBY!
Yeah, Dwight – you obviously have some hang-up. Try and imagine that you once were a youngster and last year had experienced the season OSU had. Yeah, it’s not the final four, but this is pretty good college basketball. And please, its not just about you and your biases.
