OK, save your “Would you like fries with that?” comments. As far as I’m concerned, Oden’s a guy who seems so genuinely sincere with his interest in helping people.
On Oden’s blog, there are pictures of this. He shows up at a Vancouver, Wash., McDonald’s, puts the apron on and has a good time serving people and interacting — so that money can be raised for Ronald McDonald House. I hope he’s a part of our community for many years to come.

Class act, and he’s only 21 years old.
That Ronald McDonald is hella creepy…
Greg Oden rejects Ronald McDonald’s attempt to pass Mike Rice more free Big Mac coupons.
Forget Rice…Oden needs to swat those big macs into the fifth row before Wheels gets his mitts on ‘em!!!
Luv ya G.O…
I got a chance to meet Greg. He is sincere with a really good sense of humor. I appreciated him taking the time to shoot the breeze…
As he left my buddy was amazed at how big he really is…the guy is physically built like a mac truck!
However, what impressed me most was the person inside
Greg is an old soul. I think that he is the real deal and a good fit for Portland. He is a person not a project. Hope that you are on Talkin’ Ball this evening, Dwight. You make that program so much more entertaining. Go Blazers!!!
