Don’t forget, Comcast Sportsnet Northwest will telecast the Trail Blazers’ Fan Fest live from the Rose Garden, beginning at 5:30, with all kinds of features, interviews, etc.
I’ll be roaming around the sidelines with the wireless microphone getting interviews with coaches, players, etc. It should be a lot of fun and if you can’t make it over to the arena, this is your first chance to see what it all looks like for this season.

Too bad going to miss it. We be at Timber playoff game but will be there Tuesday evening.
I’d love to watch it. However because of the greed of both Comcast and Vulcan fighting over one more dollar. Well, why ever go into it. Fan Fest. Yea, really looking out for the fans with that Comcast deal aren’t ya Trailblazers?
to be fair, it’s not Comcast and Vulcan fighting over a dollar – the Blazers/Vulcan have had a deal in place with Comcast for over two years. It’s Comcast and DirecTV/Dish fighting over dollars.
I feel your pain though, I’m in the same boat.
to be fair. I am also of the opinion however if the billion dollar man really wanted to kick comcast in the back door. He could get some motivation from them to do something, somehow, something worked out somewhere some day. I am just sick to death of Blazers reps saying ” be sure to catch us on comcast tonight ” yea, hugh? … ah well but anyway …
well, it’d be nice if that game was on Dish tv too. Why don’t the Blazers get their heads out of their asses and put the games on Pax or MyTV or something?
Buh..
Who are these lame announcers? Acquired from the parade circuit? The kids in the stands could do a better job.
Wow! Batum and Blake looked impressive at the scrimmage but I have to give credit to Webster! I think he is ready to prove something. Also great job Dwight. You should really be a part of the broadcast team. Refreshing to see honesty and quality!
Can we cancel the exhibition season, and have a best of seven between Black and White instead?
Comcast- where ideas go to die.
I know that Martell has been felled by injuries, and wonder about his role and confidence. If it works cap-wise, would you trade him for JJ Redick? Webster may have more upside, but Redick has shown that he can be a decent sixth man. Who’s going to be the Blazers starting 3, anyway? Batum’s a fine defender, but don’t we want more scoring there? Everybody seems to like Outlaw off of the bench. And, how did Jeff Pendergraph look?
There is no way in hell I would give Webster up for Redick
Seriously
Outlaw I think will be pushed to solely back up LA…and LA looks like he has hit the weights. Boy is seriously chisled!
I’d agree that this is a battle between Comcast and the dishes, except for the fact that with the exception of a few small cable companies, Comcast hasn’t done business with ANYONE. This promises to be a banner year for the Trail Blazers and they really need to provide some extra incentive for Comcast to get the deal done with the dishes, Charter and another dozen or so smaller cable companies. A LOT of us missed yesterday’s scrimmage and are in line to miss most of the season’s telecasts.
