Nothing to say about this but it sucks. The defense is not better with no Nic that is for sure. The S is certainly going to take another hit because of it. Webster is looking like he is going to be solid as the SF tho so this honestly this not the biggest obstacle the team faces in taking that next step this season.

In the manner of a good conspiracy tho. Concerning the medical staff. JJ et all. You do have to wonder. Concerning Nic’s injury. What did they know and when did they know it? Hmm …

At some point the discussion about playing off-season ball has to be addressed. The NBA 82 game season alone is a grind, but now they want players to play highly competitive ball for your country in the summers?

It’s just too much. The body needs some rest from the continual pounding

Rudy (back spasms), Batum (torn shoulder), and Pau Gasol (strained right hamstring) all played hard this summer and now are suffering from it.

I guess Batum will get his rest now

With all the pounding and stress on the body, no wonder ball players have a short career in this business. Blazers need to evaluate their players activities in the off season.

Ohh this is going to be ugly without Nic..
he plays without the ball, and most of the Blazers don’t.
