An easy test to tell you if you’re a Trail Blazer fan more than you are just a basketball fan
If you watched that Portland-Clipper game Sunday and went away thinking, “Wow, what a great game” . . . well, you’re a Blazer fan first.
If you were thinking, “Ugh,” and turned the game off in the third quarter or walked out as soon as the free Chalupa slips were being handed out, you’re probably more of a regular basketball fan.

That was one of the most boring games I’ve ever seen. I was done with it by the end of the third quarter. There was no suspense at all. But at least it was a win for the Blazers.
While blowouts seldom are great basketball, they are still fun to watch–especially if it is your team doing the blowing out.
What if you DVR’d the game and near the end of the third quarter you hit fast forward to see the final score?
What if you paid way too much $$$ for season tickets and disneyland prices for parking and were too lazy to get up and leave while it was raining?
Just looking at the clippers makes me really appreciate the blazers even more
What a nightmare coach Dunleavy is living
I’m definitely a Blazer fan first, but even I was pretty bored.
Dunleavy created his own nightmare. He has totally lost control of that team as a coach, and as GM he has been making bad personnel decisions, first unofficially and now officially, for several years. Ricky Davis and Zach Randolph on the same team? You are a sad customer when Channing Frye (!) is mocking your decision-making from the other team’s bench: “He just kept calling the same stuff, over and over.” (in Canzano’s column)
